School Fees – Children under 3 years

Terms & Conditions


AGE OF ADMITTANCE:

  • Children are admitted between the ages of 3 months to 3 years.

  • Attendance of a minimum of 3 sessions over 3 days (either 3 mornings or full days) is required.

FEE SCHEDULE:

  • Fees are payable in accordance with the Fee Schedule. Fees quoted are per child. In addition to the normal monthly pre-booked sessions, parents are welcome to add extra sessions but they will be charged according to the Crèche Fees Schedule.

  • Fees are payable on the first day of each calendar month by cash, cheque, childcare voucher, Childcare Tax Free Account, or bank transfer.

  • We calculate monthly fees by multiplying the weekly fees by 52 weeks and dividing by 12 calendar months.

  • To register for a placement, a Registration Fee of £50 per child is payable with the completed Registration Form, and your child’s name will be placed on the Waiting List. Please note, this is not a guarantee of a place. The Registration Fee is non-refundable.

  • In the term prior to enrolment a place may be offered. This place is secured by the payment of a £200 deposit payable within 7 days. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the child’s final month so long as the required one month’s written notice has been given. The deposit will not be refunded if a child does not take up the place we offer.

  • Fees are reviewed annually in September. If any changes are deemed necessary, parents will be informed no later than the last week of July.

  • Late payments and payment by instalments will be subject to a £1 per day Administration Fee.

  • Late collection fee chargeable:

    10 - 20 min @ £5 20 - 30 min @ £10
    30 - 45 min @ £15 45 - 60 min @ £20
  • Late collection after school opening hours: £15 every 15 minutes per child.

  • For the children who are eligible for the 2 years funding, we will apply the fund for the children, and the fund will be paid directly to the school.

HOLIDAYS, ABSENCES & NOTICE:

  • The School is open for 50 weeks of the year, and is normally closed for two weeks and all statutory bank holidays.

  • The school will close at 1pm on three specific days of the year for staff training and meetings.

  • Our quoted Fee Schedule has taken into account a 2-weeks (10 working days) school closure, all bank holidays and staff trainings and meetings days throughout a year. This is reflected in the quoted fees and therefore there is no reduction in fees during these periods.

  • Fees are payable at the full rate for all periods of absence, including holidays and sickness. Lunches will only be refunded if a minimum of 1 week’s written notice is given to the school.

  • One month’s written notice is required by parents to change a child’s pre-booked sessions at the School. Requirements about increasing sessions will be subjected to availability. Days/sessions that are booked and not used cannot be re-allocated.

  • One month’s written notice is required by either party to terminate a child’s place in the School or three months fees in lieu of notice.

CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS:

  • Each child should have sufficient clothes for their daily needs plus a spare set to be kept at the school for use as needed. Children are required to change into school shoes during their time at the school.

  • Parents are asked to ensure that their child does not bring valuable items and small objects with them, as the School cannot accept responsibility for any subsequent loss or damage.

  • Children must not wear jewellery to nursery, earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces can get caught on equipment or may be swallowed by other child, this is a health and safety risk.

  • Parents are asked to provide sunhats and suncream during the summer period months and suitable outdoor clothing during the winter to ensure that children can benefit from outdoor activities. Please label all your clothes and shoes with your child’s name.

  • For children who are not toilet-trained, parents are required to provide nappies, wipes and creams.

SICKNESS & OTHER CONDITIONS:

  • Any child who has, or develops, a high temperature or an infectious illness must be kept at home until he/she has fully recovered. This includes conditions such as vomiting, diarrhoea, discharges from eyes or blisters on any parts of body, conjunctivitis, sore throat and obvious rashes. Fees are payable at the full rate during the period of sickness absence from the school.

  • Any child with head lice must stay at home until the condition is completely cleared.

SCHOOL POLICIES:

  • School policies are updated regularly and when needed. Parents are informed of changes to policies where appropriate. We retain the right to refuse any child where parents do not adhere to school policies.
